Biography

Dr. Riley Bahin is a professional low brass musician and music educator. He received his DMA in Trombone Performance and Pedagogy at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he was the teaching assistant for the trombone studio and a member of Ensemble Flatirons, the graduate brass quintet. He received his Masters in Music in Euphonium Performance from the University of Georgia, and his Bachelor of Music in Euphonium Performance and Music Education from the University of Michigan. 

Riley is the Principal Trombone for the Great Falls Symphony, and has also performed with the Colorado Symphony, Longmont Symphony, and the Colorado Brass. In the summers, Riley has participated in the American Brass Quintet Seminar at Aspen Music Festival, the Sewanee Summer Music Festival, and the Rafael Mendez Brass Institute. 

In addition to performing, Riley is a passionate teacher. He has served as a low brass instructor and private lessons teacher at numerous elementary, middle, and high schools in the greater Denver-Boulder area, including the award winning Centaurus High School in Lafayette, CO.
